Step 1. Add the Kubuntu-ppa backports repository and then update the repository listing.
$ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
$ sudo apt-get update
Step 2. Install kubuntu-desktop package.
$ sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
